Went to the citymall early evening with the ricoh GR set to ISO 6400 and my more than thirty year old monopod which I thought could be of use in such dark conditions. There are some nice things going on there like the projected “leaves of light” on the pavement that you can see in the first and fifth image of this post.
It was freezing cold outside and the cool metal of the monopod did not help my hands get any warmer while waiting for someone to enter the frame.
The citymall was very quiet only a group of young adolescents making some noise near the theater and one or two people passing by, riding a bike or walking their dog.
This is an entrance of a parkinglot and it has a roof of bright red lights over the stairs which is kind of impressive and surreal. On the other side of this roof are stairs too, with bright illuminated red steps, leading to the top, ending in a fence.
Here’s the “leaves of light” again a very nice projection of patterns on the pavement.
And finally the nightwatch. Same “guys” as seen in previous post: Citywatch but now by night.
