Times are changing and now that I am getting used to the Ricoh GR I couldn’t believe the size of the Konica Hexar once I held it in my hands again. This used to be my small on the go camera about 17 years ago. Now it feels like one big chunk of camera! Sure, next to a Nikon F3 attached to an MD4 motordrive this is a small camera. The Hexar still feels great in the hands after all those years and what a great lens! Time to say goodbye to this analogue beauty.
My 4s had to be replaced so now I have an iphone 5s. I was really happy with the 4s’s image quality but the 5s is just that extra bit better and also has some other nice features for streetphotography. The shot below was processed in Snapseed my favorite iphone editor.

Burst mode, which I used for the shot below of the man disposing the garbage, is great for streetshots. I Shot about 20 pics of him throwing the bag away and liked this one best. Great feature. This one was processed with Snapseed and SEP2.

Another shot of the McDonalds cleaner: a somewhat ominous look. On both images of this guy I managed to get something of the background buildings sticking out of his head :( That’s what you get if you just point and shoot.
